UK why not go one step further and holiday at home - literally? Ann

Breakfast is considered by many to be the most
important meal of the day, but for adults and children alike it can be
incredibly difficult to find a healthy way to start the day due to
companies who insist on piling more sugar into our favourite breakfast
cereals.
Of the 100 tested cereals 31 contained more than
four teaspoons of sugar per recommended serving; even more shockingly
only one of the 28 cereals specifically marketed at children were found
not to be high in sugar, but still had a high salt content. With only
8% of children’s cereals falling into the acceptable Food Standards
Agency guidelines for sugar, it is clear that something needs to be
done.
