Urdhva translates as upward and dhanurasana as bow
In this fun and challenging pose the body arches back to form a bow shape.
Upward Bow stimulates the adrenal glands which controls the fight or flight reflex, the nervous system and mobilises the spine.
Regular practise of this pose makes you feel both light and energetic. Raising the arms and legs sharpens the mind and the reflexes.
